After an accident left Sarah with damaged veneers just two weeks before her son’s wedding, we needed to create a solution that accommodated her recovery and time restrictions. We provided a same-day custom veneer; with personalized care, precise shade matching, and no extra appointments. We assessed her initial shade, milled her crown, stained it while she waited in our lab, and, in under 5 hours, she was on her way! Preparing for Custom Shade/Stain
Best outcome guidelines...
To optimize the outcome of your patients' custom shade matching, we recommend the following:

book an appointment with us in advance. Please call before sending your patient to us so that we can ensure that a technician is available to see them when they arrive.

whenever possible, send them for a shade match before the prep and after. This can help us replicate the original character of the natural tooth and have an accurate stump shade - which is crucial to material selection.

give the teeth time to re-hydrate after the prep (don't send the patient to us right after prepping). Dehydrated teeth can vary drastically in colour from hydrated teeth and will lead to inaccurate shade matching.

for custom stain appointments, please send your patient with their temps removed.
